The Youth Green Map of Galway City

Over 100 students have been involved in creating this Youth Green Map for Galway City.

The map highlights the places in Galway City that are important to the students, for example best walks around the city, youth friendly places, and popular recreation and sports areas. The students and schools involved so far include:

• Scoil Croi Iosa
• St Michael’s N.S.
• Dominican Convent
• Scoil Dara, Remore
• Scoil Ide
• Bushy Park, N.S.

The Youth Green Map for Galway is part of a larger study being undertaken by the Department of Geography, NUI, Galway in association with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Galway City Council.
